I met with Dr Sargur on the 19th Nov regarding an acute allergic reaction I had suffered during the previous weeks. I found Dr Sargur to be incredibly patient, knowledgable, clear and accessible. I left with a much greater understanding of my reaction and was reassured about the chances of a recurrence (and the help available should that occur).

I consulted Dr. Sargur on 9th November for allergic issues. He is so patience and heared all my concerns what and all happened till date. He explained what may be the root cause of my issues in different ways very clearly. After talking to him its so relaxing and my stress went down which I'm suffering from past 1 year. He explained medication plan for coming months and gave confidence that I will be back soon.

I have had severe hay fever for over 20 years and needed to seek expert advice in order to be able to manage it effectively.
Dr Sargur listened carefully to my symptoms and asked pertinent questions. He then explained the issues surrounding my allergies in depth and in detail. This was followed by a treatment plan and allergy tests.
Both the results of the tests and his recommendations were emailed to my GP and I within days.
I cannot fault the whole experience and would certainly unreservedly recommend both the hospital and Dr Sargur to others.

Thank God for this doctor, honestly I don’t know how I would have coped waiting 10-12 months for an appointment if I didn’t find him! Very knowledgeable about the allergy I’ve been suffering from and listened to everything I had to say, finally getting closer to feeling better!

Dr Ravishankar Sargur is a Consultant Immunologist at the Northern General Hospital.
He set up the Aspirin nasal challenge and desensitisation service in Northern General hospital.
His interests include specialist allergy testing, investigating hidden allergens and problems with the immune system (antibody deficiency, autoimmunity etc.
He has keen interest in training and was previously Training Program Director for Immunology in Yorkshire, Humber and East Midlands.
He was chair of the Speciality Advisory Committee (Immunology) at Joint Royal College of Physicians Training Board.
